Pugging in a dummy itinerary shows there is a 6:15 flight through AMS and a 6:35 through CDG. Meaning there are some options but only if the delay is long enough to miss a 5:30 flight but short enough to make a 6:30 flight. So there are some options if the flight from SLC ends up running late.
