title says it all

I was surprised that Starbuck's (at least near the Grand Hyatt Tokyo) and others like Tully's, Seattle's Best etc all open at 8 a.m. or later? I'm totally baffled at that.

Do the Japanese people as a whole not drink coffee in the morning.

Here I am up at 5:00 a.m. and can't find a cup of Joe LOL

I did find a 24 hour store across the street where I could buy a cup. Not the best but it does the trick until the CL opens at 7 a.m. (which I find to be late as well)

Just curious as to why thats all
