LOL this threads reminds me of something fun to do when I am bored. Go read any online hotel review or booking site, such as tripadvisor, orbitz, hotels.com, etc for the cheap places in questionable parts of town. Such as Newark NJ outside of downtown, Van Buren/Washington streets by the Phoenix airport, etc and you will read reviews that are real hoots. Things like people complaining that the hotel didn't feel very welcoming when the front desk is behind bullet proof glass and you talk through a speaker. Haha saw that review for an America's best value Inn in East Orange, NJ I believe. The run down hotels on Century near LAX have some doozies as well.

Why would anyone want to stay at those places?
