I have also switched to LCY for most of my domestics from EDI except when connecting onwards in which case I normally use LHR (although sometimes I have been able to connect at LCY which is great). The lack of lounge is more than made up for by the wonderful crews, lovely Embraer 190 and lack of delays.

Add onto that the fact that due most Pax being business travellers they are not carrying much luggage and boarding also tends to be stress free (priority boarding is almost non existant though as most pax have status). I avoid the Monday morning and Friday afternoon services which may be a little more crowded?
