My SO and I are in a situation where we can only go after so many large sign-up bonuses at a time, and right now is a good time to get it. I'm not interested in the more complicated MS, more importantly don't have the time. Unfortunately can't pay rent/tuition right now with credit either.
We'll be maxing out 2 freedoms Q4, use CSP for dining, just got done with the 100K AA offer, have a 60K Citi Hilton on the way, and I like using my AMEX SPG for the rest. So right now, this card makes sense for my SO who needs some no-fee cards with low spends.
