I flew from LCY the other weekend in Club Europe and the service was great - menus handed out, choice of meal, great crew, who did a fab job. On the return I flew into LHR and the service involved no menus, no choice of meal and surly crew. When the chap next to me asked crew for a pen to complete his immigration form, he was American, he was rudely refused. So, apart from the crew, does anyone know why there is such a difference in the basic service from LCY and LHR? Or was this a one off? I am sure this question has probably been asked before, but couldn't find the thread.
