I'm trying to book a flight and conflicted.
I need to fly from Singapore to Oslo and the Thai SIN-BKK, BKK-OSL routing would be perfect. The only challenge is that I can't tell what plane will be flying the route. (Yes, insert joke about Thai changing the aircraft at the last minute here.)
Anyway, the flight is TG894 on Friday, August 15. The plane is listed on Thai's website as 777-300, leading me to believe it has the angled-flat seats in J. When I click on the seatmap, it says, "Thai Airways International TG954
Aircraft: Boeing 777-300." Yet, when I actually look at the seatmap, it's clearly the staggered layout. Additionally, this thread seems to indicate that Oslo usually gets the 77W and the fully flat staggered seats.
Finally, this website (
http://www.flightradar24.com/data/fl...tg954/#405bf3b) lists the route as getting a 77W every day for the last three months.
So, any idea what is going on? Should I expect the 77W? Did I happen to get really unlucky and only this Friday is scheduled as a 777-300?
