Having endured my share of "that is against the rules," "that fare will not price," "that is not a legitimate fare," etc., I am curious about what the agent sees when giving me this sometimes erroneous information. An essentially blank screen? an error message that does not reveal the reason? if the error message does have content, are they pointed towards pertinent fare rules? How many steps between the screen with your fare and the underlying rules?
It seems when I have been dismissed on what I am relatively certain is a legitimate fare, the respondents are evenly divided between those who have a reason-can't have a stopover and an open jaw-and those who just say No.
