Just had dinner at Latitude (36th floor Shangri-La hotel so great harbor views). Was very surprised at the quality of the food -- it is amongst the best in Australia. As good as Quay etc. and well priced. Also lots of floor space per table, they could have had double the density. I had avoided it as a tourist-trap hotel restaurant, but it is actually fine dining well executed and good value.
