Thanks for the responses. My hair loss is mild, and I want to keep it that way =). I'm nowhere near needing to shave my head yet.

So the general consensus is that it should be ok? I'm going to be flying international out of LAX. I've never flown international before, how does this process work? Where would I bring my luggage, and what would I say? I'm confused about the whole declare/not declare thing. I'm new to international travel, so please go ahead and treat me like I'm an idiot. Just want to do this the right way and have no surprises.

By the way, I plan on having a small backpack as my carry-on, and a big 30" roller bag as my only checked bag.
