From my experience, there were limited mosquitos on property, but you will encounter many other bugs throughout the property. Mainly beetles, june bugs and similar hard shelled bugs. The bugs were harmless. Now if you venture off the property, I think you will encounter a lot more mosquitos.

We also heard and observed a number of howler monkeys throughout our stay as well as a number of snakes. The staff were quick to spot and remove snakes from the grounds.
