But that is just AY, isn't it? With the cheapest Y fares on the planet (which makes me wonder why anyone ex SIN would actually fly EK) and tons of privileges for their elites, the usual scenario is paid customers in the desirable seats, families and pals dispersed across the cabin ... I do wish that they had a chat function.

Having said that, I find that the FAs are doing a decent job with asking pax who "enjoy their first flight in Biz" too much to try to "enjoy the bed and sleep a bit".
