If you want your US status perks on your AA flight, then you should replace your AAdvantage number with your Dividend Miles number in your AA PNR.

It sounds like your AA flight is not an "award" flight, but merely a cash flight paid for with Amex points.

Thanks for the reply too! I actually tried putting in my US Airways number on the Amex site. I don't know if it went through or not. I then logged into AA.com and tried putting my Dividend number into the FF box, but it threw back and error message. I put in my AA number and it took that with no problems. I'll check again.
