Well, to be fair, if you are flying in second (or third or fourth) class, it seems reasonable to be treated as such. If everyone gets first class treatment, then nobody really gets first class treatment.

Personally, I very rarely think I get rude service in Y. I think there is a difference between getting little and/or brief service and getting rude service.
