I only asked via e-mail if I could use a DSU. They said an Diamond Suite upgrade would not be possible during my dates. I followed up asking which days were available as the call centre rep said availability was scattered. They're not responding as promptly now. I hope that they have some good news soon.
The Two Bedroom and Grand King Suite are available at Hyatt Daily Rate. Does that mean my chances of being upgraded are good? Thanks
The entry level suite is the Grand Duplex. You can try emailing
[email protected] to see if they are willing to confirm an upgrade into Grand Suite King for you. IME, they are very responsive and normally will respond within 24 hours.
Anyway, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about using the DSU. As a Diamond, you'll most likely be upgraded to a Grand Deluxe room, which is basically a junior suite.
