If you happen to be unlucky and get someone on a power trip, I suggest you just grin and bare it. When dealing with this type of person I keep reminding myself: 'Hey, I have to deal with this person for 5-10 minutes... Someone is probably married to this person and has to deal with them full time.' At which point I generally start feeling better.

Edit: I'm pretty certain YZE is a typo. If you tell us what the connecting airport is, we can tell you if you will pre clear customs in Canada making your arrival in IAH much quicker.
