Fingers crossed! From my communication with them I think they do have the reservation, but the details are all in a mess. Maybe securing the confirmation number should work.
I was given the new confirmation number by SPG and subsequently confirmed by the hotel, but when I enter that number into SPG.com, I get:
No stays linked to this account were found.
I have faith though that they'll be expecting me and hopefully I won't have to ask for the Platinum perks.
