Has anyone stayed at the HGI at (or rather, near) SCL (Santiago airport).

Have a ~12 hr layover at SCL inbetween flights from IPC and onto LIM/CUZ.

There is a free shuttle but it's a 3rd party. Just wondering what it is like to get back to the airport.

Rate through Hilton Canadian Olympic team is $144 vs IHG's F&F rate of $149 at the HI SCL which is right adjacent to the terminal.

We have no Hilton status (well, silver) and negligible amount of point (~1,500) so wonder if loyalty is worth it.
