whenever I hear a horror story, I try not to assume anything on either side. There is no benefit in provoking a customs/immigration agent while the opposite might not be true (you provoke someone , if they are lying they might lose control of the situation and give themselves away)

and yes, everyone knows nowadays who 'will always win' the 'fight'
