That's what I did. No hurry to downgrade, since the fee has already been paid, and the Surpass gives you perks, like Gold status and extra points on certain purchases, that the no fee doesn't. But there are other ways to get Gold without paying the AF again, and the extra point per $ isn't worth the fee IMO.
