I've been emailing with the blogger (a very nice person!) and unfortunately, Saito is fully booked through the end of the year. I should have contacted a regular months ago, as I had wanted to make reservations at the start of the year but was continually told that it was impossible to do so. I wish I had thought of this sooner.

Oh well, there's plenty of excellent sushi choices in Tokyo. I may extend the offer for his assistance with Sawada, although he suggested two other wonderful options that haven't been blogged about yet and seem to slide under the radar.

I'll try Saito again the week before and day-of in the off chance that there are any cancellations. I could kick myself for letting this happen as I had planned everything else so far in advance and had intended to do the same for Saito. Darn!
