I don't disagree with the rooms and lounge being better at the HI Silom being better but they must simply hate me there as service has never been close to what you guys are describing.....I got average at best and in the lounge it was always a pretty uninterested staff when I was there....but a nice lounge. The HI Silom pool is not nearly as nice as the one at Ploenchit which is a big deal for me. Also, I don't know that I would categorize the walk to the nicer tower the Ploenchit location as miles away from the entrance either. I am however more inclined to stay at the CP if the rate is close to the HI Ploenchit.
