But then what good would they be?

I was putting a bunch of spending on my Sapphire card, but then the annual fee came due and I cancelled the card. Neither my wife nor I currently have one; I'd actually like to get a new one, but I'm kind of "afraid" to apply for one!

I was also putting lots of spend on my Avios cards because they had bonuses up to 20K, but I met those bonuses and pulled back. The only Chase card I currently put a lot of spend on is Ink, and it's the type of spend that probably doesn't make them happy (5x).

I'm planning on "laying low" for a few months before submitting a new application. I'd like to have my credit score recover a bit, too; it seems to have slid from the low 800s to about 750. Not sure what the cut off for these various bonus cards might be.
