I recall that on previous intl trips, it would show me the mobile BP. Is there something specific if there is a non-UA leg?

The email attachment did include a BP for the LH leg (UA codeshare). I had planned to checkin on the LH site as well but maybe that isnt necessary anymore.
If there are non-UA legs in your trip you cannot use a mobile BP until you fly the non-UA legs. For example, if you have an UA flight connecting to an LH flight you will have to use paper BPs for all segments. However, if you have an LH flight connecting to an UA flight, the mobile BPs will show up after you fly the LH segment.

It is typical to get the BPs for all carriers when checking in (especially when they are *A carriers) so getting the LH BP when checking in with UA is not uncommon. You may be able to go to LH's mobile site and get their mobile BP for that segment.
