I was told my reservation was no longer associated with my SPG account and the agent couldn't reinstate it. The confirmation number also changed. Sure hope that doesn't lead to problems. I emailed the hotel yesterday with my concern and have not yet received a reply.
I just received a reply from the hotel. Everything is fine and indeed the confirmation number did change. An excerpt from the E-mail:
Currently the hotel is undergoing a system change/upgrade (internal) and it is still in progress, hence apology for the confusion in not being able to view your upcoming reservations. Please be rest assured that everything is in order with your upcoming reservation.
