i forgot to add that when i initially tried to use a combination of vouchers to pay for the flight in full, the amount due went down to $0 once they were applied. i then attempted to finalize the purchase and kept getting an error message stating that I had insufficient funds whenever i tried to process the transaction. that is when i decided to just use my points and pay the $5 through paypal.
