For those that were wondering and doubting that I would get the points for upgrading my Amex HHonors card to a Surpass - while already having another Surpass open... my $3k of purchases posted a couple days ago and I noticed today my Hilton HHonors account grew by 50k points - statement doesn't even close for another 2 weeks. Worked for me. YMMV.

I also haven't been charged an annual fee yet either, but we'll see.
Anyone know where I can see how long my Gold status is good for?
