Well, not necessarily so if that E50K gets that status as an AC|Altitude MillionMiler (or is gifted that status by a 2MMer) and who doesn't actually fly that much any longer, but who is guaranteed this minimum status tier by virtue of their years of accumulated flying with AC. Such a person could have no Distinction status, or just hold Silver Distinction, though if they spend an awful lot and earn non-flight AE miles, then they could be Diamond Distinction.
