I can't say anything about the doubletree, but we picked northolme for our last night after transferring over from la digue. No regrets at all. Stunning property and a great finale for our trip. Hotel arranged for our transfer to the airport in time for the emirates flight, and even managed to pack up a few pastries for us to snack on on the way to the airport. Drive went quickly and we made it to the airport with time to spare.
