I have been in Brazil for work and vacation for about two months now.

The Tmobile data has been great. It's free texting to anywhere in the world and 20 cent when making and receiving calls.

Calls are free when you use the Tmobile wifi app and call the US.

No problem using apps to make calls. The only feature that doesn't seem to work is using your phone as a WiFi hotspot.
