On point 2, I flew back from Brisbane in May and was able to use the Air New Zealand lounge.
However, although it isnt relevant to the OP but for others interest, the important thing was that my EY flight on EY metal (EY473) had a ANZ code share number which it did otherwise I, as a gold in Y, and J passengers would not have had any lounge access.
