Just been there, done that.

The DPS Temp Lounge is still on the go. Building partitions are still in place. They now have floor setup, so that you must walk the Duty Free route, to get from Immigration to the departure gates.

I was very happy with the VA service. The FA's were nice, likable and chatty. A bit of a surprise, J was chock a block - all 8 seats occupied (it crossed my mind, that I should chat with the other pax to see if anyone went the cash upgrade option - and what $ value was successful).

Food was soup poured from a thermos, choice of two hot mains, and a cake type desert. Drinks were a choice of two white wines and then a red wine was offered. I took some white wine (Riesling), then a couple of Scotchs with cheese and biscuits.

Pre-takeoff drinks were offered, water or orange juice. I had been flying QR and CX (in J) prior to this flight and cheekily asked for champagne. I told her I enjoyed the Bollinger more than the Lanson.
I got Chateau H2O. Ah, well ......
