So many great places to eat in Detroit. I know every city has their favorites spots. When I travel I usually spend 3-6 months at a time visiting the same city. I always ask the locals for recommendations for dining. I usually find a place or two that I like. But no where are that as many totally unique, completely awesome places to eat as Detroit.
Also, if you are a craft beer fan Detroit has that covered too. I know, every city now has it's share of brew pubs. Just saying Detroit's brewing scene has been growing in breadth and quality for some time now.
Oh, and how could I (almost) forget Detroit's most loved locally invented food: the coney dog. I prefer Lafayette's, others will say American. Just remember: no ketchup, mustard only!
