It has been a long time since I had a plane with mechanical delays, but just yesterday my SkyWest LBG-SEA had a huge delay. (I knew I should not have read this thread - it jinxed my flight! ) by the 8th message I knew I should call in and switch to the later (but earlier landing at SEA) flight. That part was easy, the hard part was waiting in the line at the ticket counter to get my 2 bags switched At least getting thru security was easy both times, glad they have precheck!
