Just want to start with: I'm new to flyer talk, so if I'm posting in the wrong place-I'm sorry! I hunted through the main page to figure out where to post, and this thread seemed the most appropriate.
I was made a reservation at the Cosmopolitan quite awhile back, in March I think, for a Terrace Studio (I've had decent luck with the sandwich in the past). At the end of the booking session an eStandby upgrade page came up. Included a partial screenshot to not include personal info. I was wondering if anyone has used this and had any luck. The options included:
VIP Check-In $25
Early Check-In $36 (this is 11am and after. I believe if you do the early check-in directly with Cosmo for $50, you can check in at 10am.
Fountain View - $30/nt
Terrace One-Bedroom - $38/nt
Terrace Angle - $44/nt
Terrace Suite - $174/nt
Wrap-Around Terrace - $305/nt
Lanai Suite - $778/nt
I'm thinking about putting in for the early arrival, since I don't need to check in until about noon; and I'm pretty sure that will go through no matter what. But I usually do a $50-100 sandwich depending on how busy it is and have been upgrade to a terrace suite and wrap 4 out of 5 times. I have a 4 night stay, so paying $1200+ for the upgrade to wrap just isn't worth it to me. I think taking the chance on the sandwich is worth it. Has anyone stayed in the Terrace Angle? It looks like it might be lacking a sofa/proper living room, but does have two bathrooms. It's not a room you can book out right, you have to call and request to book it. I'm thinking about requesting this one and then seeing if I can get better when I check in.
