Combine different airline ticket for checked bag in SIN
Hi Folks,
Simple question, I hope. I have a United ticket from EWR-SIN (via HKG) and then a Jetstar ticket from SIN-PER. My connect time in SIN is only 1:40 so I'm concerned about the time it will take me to retrieve my bag and then recheck it on Jetstar. Is there any way to get United to add the Jetstar itinerary so it gets checked all the way to PER?

If not, does anyone know how baggage claim is in SIN? Do I need to go through immigration to get my bag even though I am continuing on on a different airline?
