I-94 issue regarding incorrect surname. How best to solve?

I'm having an interesting issue. I went to get a replacement SSN card a few weeks ago, and they said they had a problem matching my name up with immigration (using the I-94 number in my passport), it turns out my surname is in the system wrong. I receive a call from the social security office yesterday telling me there is nothing they can do and I have to sort it out with immigration.

I found that there is a website that lets you look up your I-94 and travel history by name/passport number (https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html for anyone interested)

When use the wrong name it brings up the I-94 listed in my passport and when it was issued. When I use my correct name it brings up another I-94 with my most recent travel history.

The wrong I-94 number is the one linked to my NEXUS. So I really need to get it fixed, but since my I-94 is multiple entry, I'm not sure why I have two.

From what I've read it sounds like I need to go to a CBP deferred inspection site and have it corrected, however there aren't any in the DFW area.

Does anyone have suggestions or advice on what to do?
