I believe you (and other who have posted this on here), but although I had heard of sovereign immunity before I had no idea that that could be used in the event that the country's military force were used to blow up an airborne plane with innocent citizens inside. I'm stunned by this as it seems truly medieval (the concept, not the use of planes and guided missiles... Obviously).
