As noted by bernardd, unlike ba.com, aa.com will show connecting flights if award seats are available. If aa.com is not showing any routings for SAAver awards between BOS and LAS, there is no point in searching individual segments separately, unless you would consider a stopover (more than four hours) at a connecting point.

I would also look at JFK-LAS on AA. If you can find award space on that flight, you can probably get BOS-LGA on US, if not BOS-JFK on AA. (BOS-LGA//JFK-LAS, even if available, would probably not show up on aa.com, as US "suppresses" domestic connections between LGA and JFK, even though other carriers permit such connections.)
