I agree that the 747-8 is an absolutely stunning aircraft. I too was blown away by the "atrium" in J that contains the stairwell. Ultimately, all of these new-model planes are smooth and quiet, but the new "queen" takes the cake .

I have to say that I was floored by how the ground staff treated you at FRA. It's just a head scratcher to me, given the lengths to which they go to cater to their F customers (FCT, private car to the planes, etc.). You'd think that they would have some procedure in place to more gracefully assist F pax who for whatever reason cannot access the various F facilities in getting to and boarding their flights.
