My big question is what happens if you don't take advantage of this feature. Do you automatically get shuffled down to less and less attractive rooms (aka first floor next to the dumpster) if you just show up at the hotel and check in regular.
I'm wondering the same thing. At 6AM the day before have you already been assigned a default room based on your preferences/status/availability, or is it a free for all for all the decent rooms starting at that time? I'm hoping it is the former.
