Please, please, please do not play the slots at the airport. It really hurts my brain when I see people doing this. Just donate the money to a homeless person before heading to the airport, then have a couple drinks or something if you have time to kill before your flight.

The possibility of missing your flight is the least of the problems with playing airport slots. More impactful are the facts that the slot pay-backs are much worse than you will find pretty much anywhere in town (just compare the VP pay tables for a general idea), and the fact that you are not earning any comps whatsoever for your play at these machines.
