Well, your guess is as good as mine. All I know is that J boarding (longhaul, Asian destinations) used to be a breeze and now the line at J boarding is as long as the one for Y boarding. Meaning it goes from the boarding point to be back of the terminal.
I know for a fact that silvers get into group 1, but maybe they randomly put some statusless pax in group 1 aswell?
