I have no problem getting new cards. I am over 800 on 2 and 790 on trans union. Was higher but i seen it just dropped 15 pts. (maybe because of a hard pull, Just bout 2nd house).

I was just looking for away to build a few miles. I am paying my mortgage anyway, might as well try and get points with it also.

I have been reading and looks like I missed all the opportunities of reloading at wm and cvs. Was not planning on doing thousands like most people.

It took about 10 years to get 50k miles (the hard way) on my discover card by paying bills. Time to chunk it and get a new card with more miles than it took me 10 years to acquire. Hell with this 19% interest rate. Feel like a dumb ... charging everything thing i can when all i have to do is just get a new card with miles already.
