Welcome to FlyerTalk, shawnshx.

You can fund Bluebird indirectly from credit cards, if you are near enough to a Wal-Mart.

You have to buy (up to) $500 generic Visa gift cards with a $5.95 or so fee at most major grocery store chains with a credit card, get a PIN for each Visa gfift card, and then you can take those Visa gift cards to Wal-Mart ($1000 per day limit I think), and use them to load up your Bluebird account.

(Theoretically you can do it with MC gift cards too, but I've heard Visa gift cards work better for this.)

You mortgage is presumably more than $1000 a month, so you see why have to be near enough to a Wal-Mart, given then $1000 a day limit you'll have to go back there multiple times a month.

And there's no way to do it wihtout incurring some fee for the gift cards. (You can't get Visa/MC gift cards without any activation fee, and you can't load Bluebird with store-specific gift cards that have no fee.)
