Thanks everyone. So i decided to take the chance and do the short connection. I'm on an 8 day golf trip and figure if they don't make it I'll rent clubs for the first day and collect them later. I packed enough golf stuff to survive for a day or two. The agent here in SFO just told me that it should be no problem but we shall see. i figure if they miss there are more opportunities for them to show on my arrival day!

The only bummer about the short connection is no Concorde Room but if it means another 18 holes that's a fair trade.

This trip is Cruden Bay, Royal Abeerdeen, Murcar, likely Newburgh, Dornoch, Castle Stuart, Golspie, Skibo, and if I make it in on day one planning on Trump. I've played Brora and love it, don't think I'll have time for it this time, gotta love the electric fences on the greens.
