Hey all

First time poster, long time lurker.

I was wondering if anyone had experience redeeming EVA IML points on *A carriers? Based on the EVA website, it looks like we have to call to redeem, but then visit an office to ticket. This would be a pain in the butt ordinarily, but the fact that I do not live in a market served by EVA makes this impossible.

I also think it strange that the *A upgrade is automated, but ticketing is not...

Any feedback is appreciated, as I have a pot of miles about to expire at the end of the month, and was hoping to at least get some United flight out of it...
