Since this wasn't first time I hear this kind of thing happening, I sent a message to Star Alliance Facebook team asking if there is anything they can do to stop this kind of misinformation coming from Lufthansa and they answered within 3 hours with following:
"if anything of this type happens to you, please let us know. We can take it up with Lufthansa but we need exact details. Best regards."
So, next time LH gives that kind of crap about TK please note up the time, airport and their name and contact Star Alliance.
I would actually encourage OP to contact them about this case as well.
I have had problems getting into the LH lounge twice recently with TK gold,last was last week in MUC,took me several minutes,even offered them my UA gold.Seems that LH likes to make problems for TK elites.I went to the star lounges in LIS and OSL on the same trip,low and behold,no prob.In LIS I even offered to give them my UA card,but was told by the agent that they,TAP,"do not have any anti TK policy,unlike LH".
If LH wishes to discriminate towards TK,I frankly think it would be more honest to say so uppfront,rather than making people wait for minutes,while other PAX are clearly wondering if your some sort of imposter.
