I would take the 3 class 767. The seats are more comfortable than the 2 class 777 and the crews are generally much better on the 3 class planes. I would avoid the dated 2 class 777 in business as the seats are hard, and the footwells are tiny. It feels very tight and uncomfortable for a premium class.
The other issue I found is when I sat In the second section of business on the 2 class 777 is that the FAs chatted all night in the galley across the Atlantic and it was very difficult to sleep or watch a movie. I was wishing I was in coach.
Riding backwards or forwards on the 3 class plane is nice and the business class on the 3 class 767 feels much more modern and comfortable.
