Had a positive first experience at Fox Rent a Car Seattle (SEA) when I needed a last minute rental in SEATAC during the area's high tourist season. Got a full sized 2014 Camry with 800 total miles on it for $27/day a/i. This rate was approximately 1/2 of what everyone else was charging for equivalent cars. Very friendly service at the counter and an old-school 'key on rack' check-out process in the rental garage.

The only odd part is that Fox charged me a $150 fee in a single off-the-lot transaction, and then reimbursed my $150 after the car came back in good shape. The $150 hit my CC, and was not the typical "pending and then reversed" process I have elsewhere seen. This fee / debit would be no big deal, but the rental price + $150 meant I needed more significantly Barclay rewards points to redeem it.

Lesson learned: see if you can get the rental price and $150 fee as 2 separate transactions, if using Barclay Arrival+ for an easier redemption.
